About 1½ miles south of the dam the Intermediate River flows into
Lake Bellaire shown in the photo to the left. The area is mostly marsh land
around the river mouth and you can see a variety of wildlife along the way.
Stay to the east side of the river when entering or leaving.
A shallow sand bar extends out from the west bank at the mouth.
You can see a couple of small red markers to show you the way.
