Lake Charlevoix
Holy Island

The southern view of Holy Island is shown top left, and
the northern view is shown top right. The Island is connected
to the main land by a small bridge on the west side shown in
the photo here to the left.
The area here and to the east side of
the island has a rocky bottom and sporadic weeds with
good
smallmouth and
walleye fishing & early season
browns.
Near the Island
you may see a few Turkey Hawks hanging around in the trees. They are keeping
a sharp watch in the shallows for a meal.
The shallow flats to the south and west of the island is
about the most productive area around the island. I like to troll
spinner rigs slowly around the east drop.
