The area from Sanderson's Bay to about ½ mile south
of the point shown left is known more for winter
walleye
and pike.
Tip-ups and jigs baited with large shiners
are the locals choice.
The steep drops and out side corners of the point
is also a place to jig for
smallmouth
in the warmer months. You can see the boat in the photo just on the
edge of the well defined underwater point.
