A flashing green light marks the entrance to the Cheboygan River from the north end of Mullett Lake. You do want to stay right in the channel or you will be in very shallow water.
The mouth of the river will attract walleye in the early spring and fall like most rivers in the area. Night time is the best time to anchor an fish the channel with jigs.
