The photos on this page were taken from the Robinson Road
area in Pellston. There is a large pool easy to fish right
where the road crosses the river just west of US-31, shown
top left.
There are many two tracks you can follow north and
fish many different spots on the river,
like the one shown left here. This area of the river
holds brook, brown, and rainbow trout. The river
branches out further to the west into the Pleasant View
Swamp and Larks lake. Brook Trout fishing can be fun
for the kids in the small creeks that enter the river
in that area. Click
