Fishing has been fantastic so far this summer. June brought in some gusty weather with cooler waters, which in turn gave us a slower start. However, since mid June, it's like someone turned on the lights: Several large mouth keepers (23.5"-largest), and pike (largest 34.25"), with a few smallies looking pretty good. Many bass caught just below legal, showing hope for a good bass future. Pike have been the most abundant we have seen in years. Numerous gills and perch, with several crappie caught as well. Looking forward to a continued GREAT fishing season up here on Fletchers Pond. C'mon up and give it a try. Happy Fishin'!
