Bass fishing remains excellent. We had a young man catch a 21" bass of the dock on a worm the other day. Out farther from shore, sinko's and spinner baits have been working well. Pike bite has been steady, but not excellent. You should be able to catch your fill of pan fish. Fishing should remain strong into October, but most of the fishermen will be headed back to school/work... we're switching to our fall/winter nightly minimum's next weekend, so if you are looking for a 2 or 3 night get away then now is the perfect time!
