Bass fishing has been great. Plenty in the 2.5 -3.5 lb range with largest this weekend at 4.5 lbs. Try fishing 4-5 ft of water around the stumps using soft plastics and top water baits in the evening. Kids have been doing great on pan fish... not really too large, but non-stop action. Pike have been relatively slow. Overall the fishing is very good this time of year and the weather has been great -not too hot and not to cold. We still have a few openings in August and for Labor Day weekend... August is some of the best fishing without as many fishermen as June and July.
