Believe it or not, there is still some snow in the woods north of M-28 between Seney and Grand Marais. The good news for all of you quad runners is that all of the main trails are open and there's no dust. Lots of mud holes "out there" to play in but no dust. The temps have been cooler than normal this past week but are suppose to get back into the 50's all through next week. Just click on the weather icon in the upper right hand corner of this page for details. This is a great time to be UP here right now, especially if you enjoy fishing, hunting for those tasty Morel mushrooms and/or just plain riding. I passed a group heading out of town yesterday and we've got another group riding in from Paradise that's going to be staying with us next week. We need a few more of you to come UP & ride this month so here's what we're doing. Jeanette & I are continueing to run our "spring special" rates of $55.00/night with a 2 night minimum through the middle of May; maybe longer depending on the kind of response we get. For those of you who call & make reservations to stay with us this month, we automatically enter you in our "FREE GAS GIVEAWAY" drawing. This is our way of saying "Thank You", we appreciate your business, especially this time of year when things are slow. Don't let the "greedy" big oil companies stop you from doing what you love. We don't intend to but we need your help and thank you in advance for your support. Little guys like us are just trying to survive and unlike the big boys, we actually care about our customers! Give us a call & come on UP. Once you're "out there", you'll be glad you did. Hope to see you soon! John & Jeanette at Hilltop Cabins & Motel in Grand Marais (906) 494-2331
