Well folks the time has finally come. It saddens me to have to write this but all good things must come to an end. The extended forecast calls for no significant snowfall for the rest of the month. I am sure you could ride in the far northern corner of Lower Michigan and in the U.P. I am going to speak On behalf of Houghton lake businesses and Spicers Boat City, we would like to thank you for your Patronage to our establishments. I got a sense of feeling that most snowmobilers said the hell with the economy and I am going to ride! And ride we did. WOW we had a great year, gas prices were low and we had a ton of snow. Our Houghton Lake Chamber, DNR, Groomers and our support people all deserve credit for making this one of the best years in history. It has truly been our pleasure doing this report. We met a lot of great people and made some friends along the way. Next year I hope to have a chat room on my blog, I will work on that this summer. I rode over 3,000 miles this year, Jeremy and Jon rode close to that as well. I hope to see you riding ATVs or on the water this summer. Stop in any time to say hi!
