Groomer drivers report that all the PI trails were groomed and are in good ridable condition, with the exception of some of the sides of roads. Riders today came from Indian River, Alpena, Cheboygan and Millersburg. Comments from them - Cheboygan heading to Black Mtn Trail.... in City of Cheboygan really bad, doesn't start to get better until you get to the trails that start at the end of Gilpin Road. From Cheboygan down railroad grade 9, good after you cross M33 by the BP Gas Station. Trail 9 to Millersburg good, further south rocks peeking through from time to time. Black Mtn to Silver Creek good... except for the section after the parking lot, CoRd 489, to Town Hall to Balsch Rd... time to take the alternate trail which is rough but it's got snow. All the groomed trails riders said were good otherwise. Now we just wait for more snow looks like mid-week for us... hopefully it will condtinue through the weekend. Temps are cold - subzero at night.
