I just groomed Trail #16, Crystal Falls west to Iron River yesterday and was suprised how much snow is still here and how good the trail turned out!! Trail #16, Crystal Falls east to Sagola, Trail #111, Crystal Falls north to Amasa and Trail #18 Amasa northeast toward Republic were also groomed yesterday. Trail #113, Crystal Falls south toward Florence, Wi. and Trail #2, The Brule River west toward Iron River was groomed today. After talking with al of the other groomer operators the feeling is the same! Yes, we need more snow! There are some thin spots, some snirt. There are even some bare spots specially in town. But the vote is that the trails are in GOOD shape for what snow we have and little was lost with the warm up! Grooming is continuing as scheduled!
