    Update on the trails in our area: 41 North and South (Haywire Grade) are in very good shape. 413 is in good shape even with a lot of traffic.The 7 trail on our western side is in Very good shape down to Big Spring. The 2 West trail from Manistique to the 7 Juction is fair to good with still some wet areas on the pipeline . Trail 2 EAST is in Good shape; the Juction of 2 and 421 going into Gulliver is where things change: Going into Gulliver is good to very good and some new snow has improved this qiute a bit. The 2 East trail going through Bear Creek Swamp is POSTED CLOSED and is not advised to travel. (Open water and swampy areas exist.) the only way east is to take the Manistique River Road north to M77 cross M77 and intersect with the 43 trail to Curtis(South) or Germfask(North) ALL bases are still recovering from the past event volume of sled traffic.
