Seney Snowmobile Trail Volunteer Maintenance Day 2004   By DMG           Pg. 4

The lead truck steadily dropped off poles and signs where needed with one of the next trucks stopping to dig the holes, screw on the signs, and pack them in the ground. Another would leap frog past and catch the next sign. With three crews doing this we could just about keep up with the lead truck. Things were going as nice as the weather, nothing but blue sky. The soil is very sandy in this area so digging was a breeze. We also cut back any brush and made sure the signs are very visible along the trail. By the way, the photo bottom right should be a good reason to stay on the trail. Under that nice powder are stumps and rocks. Things sure look different in the summer time. We stopped for a soda here and there as we moved through the day popping signs in the ground.
