Up-stream from Graves Crossing the river is closed to canoeing
to help maintain the excellent fishing through the Jordan
River Valley.
From here you can enter the river at the bridge with ease
using the fine landing built just for this purpose.

from Graves Crossing. Bob is a river and fly fishing guide from East Jordan
and owner of The Grouse Feather Fly Shop.
If you are looking for someone to take you down one of Northern Michigan's
rivers, he's the man.
Down-stream a ways the river smooths out a bit and has
a few very nice spots to stop for a rest or just to enjoy
the view and watch the others paddle by, as in the
photo shown at the bottom right.
