About a mile down stream from Old State Road the river
starts to widen and mellow out a bit. You can enjoy the
view as the current does the work. This low lying area
has many birch, pine, and cedar trees to hide the wild life
you can see passing through. Deer sightings are common through
this area, so stay quiet and keep those eyes open. The foot bridge
show here is about a quarter mile up stream from Webster Creek
where Morrison Road comes down from the east.
