  The Upper Manistique River, in Schoolcraft County Michigan, is well known for it's fishing, wildlife and beautiful scenery. This stretch of the river offers a beautiful day trip. You can start at the Ten Curves access and canoe or kayak the Manistique River south through Germfask and the Seney National Wildlife Refuge to the Mead Creek access point in about 5 to 6 hours.
