Welcome to Lake St.Helen.With the heat of summer on us,the fishing has slowed down just a little bit on the lake, but the fish are still biting. Try early morning or later on in the evening for the best fishing.Bluegills and other panfish are on the bite with nightcrawlers drifted under a bobber in all 3 of the lakes, with 1st lake being the most productive at this report in water from 3 to 10 ft.deep.Bass are being taken around the lillypads and bullrush weeds on crawlers and small spinners in morning and again later on in the evenings. Pike are hitting good on Rapala's in most any color at this time.Fish the deeper waters in all 3 lakes for them. Walleye's are hitting Crawlers on harnesses in Orange and chartruse colors, and on small crankbait towards the late hours of the day and early night. For updated info on conditions and the freshest bait in the area , stop in at R-Bait and tackle located in St.Helen north of town at 10104 Washington Rd.just off of F-97 north. GOOD LUCK Fishing !!!!!!!
