Lake St.Helen fishing has been great this season so far and the big panfish are still on the bite as well as some nice size perch. Numbers on perch are not real good but size are. Most all fish are biting well on Night crawlers. The walleyes have slowed down some , but should pick back up some as the weather cools down next month. Pike are still being caught on small crankbaits and crawler harnesses. Check in at the only bait shop in St Helen , R bait& Tackle located at 10104 Washington Rd. just North of town off of F-97.We have the freshes bait in the area and the best prices to boot. Good Luck FISHING ! Scott.
