Hello fishheads, the lake levels are being raised now that the ice is off. They have been catching bluegills on the bayous, and in the canals around tamarac. There have been reports of walleyes being caught below the dam, but, remember they are not in season yet on the inland lakes and rivers. There have been some browns and steelhead caught off the piers, downtown and some in the lake. The pere marquette has to be down to a reasonable level again and hopefully full of steelhead, wish I was there. Spring is here, get out and enjoy it. We have plenty of openings here at the resort, and the hot tub is ready and waiting. We have a new special, rent a drift boat and get a free room. For 195.00 we will drop you at the river, and pick you up later downstream. This will include your first night, of a two night stay. This can be for the "riverworks" drift boat for up to 3, or the 17.5 ft lowe roughneck with 20hp. We only have one of each so hurry and reserve. See you on the water, Bill
