Last weekend was very busy for the trails and routes, but things have calmed down and are back to normal. Right now the trails are dusty from the lack of rain, but just stay back a little ways from the rider in front of you and wear so goggles. (I never ride without them.) Plus if you stay here, you can go swimming in crystal clear Wolf Lake to rinse off any of that trail dust. We do have a couple ATV’s available for this weekend and a couple rooms open for during the week, but are of course full for the weekend. (You have to make reservations in advance.) Check our Facebook page for current pics and new things that are going on.

A lot of Lake County roads are open to ORV traffic and you can ride right from the Resort straight to the trails. And when they groom the ORV Routes I will let you know. If you ever get the chance, come up and ride during the week you will love it, light to no traffic and plenty. ATV and Boat rentals are available. Please do not ride ATV’s , ORV’s, or motorcycles on the snowmobile only trails.

Check the Michigan DNR web site for any possible riding restrictions during the rifle deer season.

On site ATV Rentals are ready. So if you want to give ATVing a try or if yours is broken, or if you want to bring someone else with you that doesn’t have an ATV, we have you covered with a nice selection of current models that you can ride right from the Resort from April 1st until November 30th.

Here is a list of the trails that you can ride. The Little Manistee Trail is a wide ORV Route and is 46 miles long, plus there is a 46 mile single track motorcycle trail that runs right beside it too. Then the Lincoln Hills trail is a twisty ORV Route with some nice elevation changes and its 21 miles long and there is also a 21 mile single track motorcycle trail that runs beside it too. The Tin Cup Springs is a very twisty 21 miles ORV Route and single track motorcycle trail. This trail is not for the novice rider. The Little O trail is 46 miles of tight 50 inch ATV and dirt bike trail that winds and twist it’s way through the forest. Please only ride on designated trails and county roads, if not, they may close the trails and roads to ORV traffic.
