Baldwin Michigan Weather Michigan ATV Trails
I’M TAKING A COUPLE DAYS OFF SO THE NEXT TRAIL REPORT WILL BE 5-20-08.

Hi Everyone, we did get a nice rain on 5-7-08 and the grooming should start today 5-16-08. They use a big 4 wheel drive John Deere tractor to pull their grooming pan. It looks a lot like the snow groomer, but is a lot more heavy duty for the sand. The trails are pretty bumpy so it will take several passes to make it smooth again, so be patient. I don’t think they will groom over the weekend, but will be back out there Monday the 19th, so this next week will be a great time to come up and hit the trails. Take some time off of work or call in sick, this next week should be Fantastic.

Yamaha Motor Company has been here most of the week doing new product testing and dealer demo rides on the trails. It’s nice to see all the new products that Yamaha has to offer at one place. They were all a great bunch of guys and fun to talk to and know the Yamaha line like the back of their hand. Thanks guys and I’ll see you on the next trip.

We have great trails for the ATV’s to ride and they are the Little O Trail (46 miles), Tin Cup Springs Trail (21 miles of 50” trails and 21 miles of 72” trails) are a hoot to ride. The Little Manistee Trail (46 miles of 50” trails and 46 miles of 72” trails) and the Lincoln Hills Trail (21 miles of 50” trails and 21 miles of 72” trails) are groomed in the winter for snowmobiles, so please don't tear them up. Please stay off of the snowmobile only trails with your ATV's and trucks, it mess's them up and you will get a ticket. In all, there is 222 miles of ATV, ORV trails plus the single tracks for the Dirt Bikes, which I believe is around 88 miles. That’s 310 miles of dirty fun.

We have some week day rooms and ATV’s available through the end of May,, none for May 16th and 17th, none for Memorial Day weekend (May 23rd, 24th & 25th) and three doubles and one single motel rooms and two double Lake Front rooms available for May 30th & 31st. White Morel mushrooms are out and is fun for the whole family to go mushrooming. Ride during the week if you want some fantastic riding. We do have three rooms open for the July 4th weekend.

I CAN'T SAY THIS ENOUGH, WEEKDAY RIDING IS THE BEST.

So if you want great riding and then come back to a clean lakefront room, watch the sunset with Loons singing into the darkness, while watching our nightly lakeside campfire, this is the Resort for you. Then call toll free 877 745 4101 or from a cell phone 231 745 4101 to reserve yours today.

See you soon on the trails. Check out our Snowmobile report, Mushroom report and Fishing report here on Fishweb, your favorite place for things to do in Michigan.
