Au Train River Basin Joe Creek Area Alger Co. MI. Joe Creek, show above, runs out on the east shore of the Au Train River Basin at about the middle of the basin. Just out from the entrance it runs about 8 foot or so around a point and is a good location to try a little fishing. Directly across the flooding is an entrance to a small cove you can pull into.
