Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore Grand Sable Dunes N46° 39.70' W86° 03.90' Alger Co. MI. The Grand Sable Dunes cover a five mile stretch between the Sable River and Au Sable Point. The dunes are constantly changing. As you watch sand blows away until small rocks start rolling causing a chain reaction of rolling debris. There was always the noise of rolling stones in the background.
