The shoreline stretch from Advance to Whiting Park has a
extremely sharp drop off that will hold lakers, browns,
walleye and
smallmouth.
The deeper water toward the north east and running
northwest to south east will hold schools of shade and
smelt in the late summer. Walleye will feed on these suspended
fish so look for the depth the fish are at on your fishfinder.
I recommend using Big Jon planner boards and crank baits for this
work. Some of the bigger walleye can be caught through here in late August.
