Hemingway Point - Lake Charlevoix - Michigan Fishing

Hemingway Point, Lake Charlevoix Michigan
The bottom area around Hemingway Point is full of rocks and gravel making this an excellent place to fish many species of fish. Walleye and smallmouth both relate to th rocky bottom year round. Early spring the trout will feed here in shallow water, about 6 to 10 feet. In the summer months troll the deeper water north-west of the point for trout, usually about 80 to 95 feet. The bottom structure also makes this a good ice fishing area for trout and whitefish. Be careful and have fun.
