Many different species of fish inhabit the waters in
Oyster Bay and around Oyster Point. The shore line breaks
have good weed cover and the upper bay has heavy weed cover
where pike will spawn in the spring and feed year-round.
Small mouth are caught on the point breaks and southern parts
of the bay shoreline drop. Large channel cats up to 10 pounds
have been caught in the bays deeper waters. I have also pulled a
few walleye out running crawlers along the drops in 20 foot of
water.
