Condition: POOR
Sorry that I haven’t done a post with the new snow, but I was in Wolf Lake north of Baldwin on our club ride.
We received a couple of inches in Hartford and I’ve heard varying reports in other areas of our trails. Right now there isn’t enough to groom. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
Another reminder about STAYING ON THE TRAILS! We have a LOT of winter wheat, hay, and young trees in the fields where we run. You may see a big beautiful field and wonder why we don’t go straight across. Chances are they have some kind of crops planted and the land owners have asked us to KEEP THE TRAIL OFF THE FIELD.
PLEASE – honor their wishes and stay on the trails. That is where we have permission to ride. Anywhere else is considered recreational trespassing and puts the whole system in jeopardy.
Have a great time and THINK SNOW!
