December 4, 2021 Fingers Crossed   Well it looks like all the dancing might have done some good. Our first storm of the season comes in Sunday through Monday bringing a foot or more to the upper peninsula with the heavier amounts along the lake Superior snow belts. A mix of rain and snow is expected in the lower turning to all snow Sunday night and Monday. I expect this will be enough to get the UP going but we'll have to wait and see on the lower. The far Northern tip of the mitt should receive enough snow to get going but anything below Indian River most likely will not. The exception may be the lake Michigan snow belts as cold temperatures will get the lake effect machine going. After the Storm I'll head out and check the trails in the northern lower to see how the conditions really are. Till then , have fun, be safe, and I'll see you on the trail. DMG
