March 25, 2026 warming!
It's been a record snowfall season with the best conditions we've had in many years. With the last weekend of the season coming there is still a lot of snow in the U.P. The Tip of the Mitt also has snow left but it's going fast. Temps in the upper 30's to mid 40's today and some moderate rain for Thursday will make things slushy and melt a lot of base leaving the lower in bad shape. Things cool down for the weekend but warm back up next week.
You should be able to find some decent snow in the U.P. but expect some wet areas and dirty staging areas and road shoulders to deal with but once in the woods you should be fine. The lower is pretty much done and it's time to get the ORV's ready for a new season. Our Spring Mush ORV Ride is April 18th and it should be Mushy!
