February 9, 2026 Meld Temps, plenty of snow
After a very cold weekend the temps will moderate this week with highs in the upper 20's
to low 30's. A clipper system will bring light snow to the U.P. and tip of the mitt tonight with
2 to 4 inches expected, the higher amounts in the Eastern U.P. Some light freezing rain is expected.
Groomers are running through out, the wet areas are gone and the base is stiff. Great mid week riding!
It looks like a up and down pattern setting up so we could end up with temperature swings
from warm to cold this month. We will have to see how that plays out.
Make sure you pull out of the way for groomers, help your fellow riders when you can and STAY RIGHT!
