December 22, 2025 Warming Christmas
The temps have been up and down the past couple weeks and it looks to continue for the next week or so. Above freezing highs and getting warmer the next few days with highs around 40 and rain for christmas day. The lower has lost most of the base and without any real snow in the forecast I don't see it getting better this week.
The LE snowbelts in the U.P. would be your best conditions this week but expect wet areas to persist with limited grooming in most areas. In the lower the NW LES belts still have some base but it's thin and icy with dirt on some trails. Temps cool down for the weekend but begin to warm up going into next week. We'll have to see how things shape up going into the holidays.
