February 27, 2026 Better
Last weeks warm up and quick freeze made a mess of the trails but the clubs have worked all week getting the
trails back in shape. We have a one day warm up today, into the 40's, but cold air returns for the weekend.
We have a few inches of new snow the past couple of days and light snow is expected over the weekend.
The U.P is in very good shape for the weekend with some fresh snow and a strong base for grooming.
The northern lower is also in good shape for the weekend as the groomers have been out working all week.
Temps stay cold through Tuesday next week but things warm up after that with some rain expected late in the week.
Get out while things are in great shape as we only have a month left, weather permitting.
Make sure you pull out of the way for groomers, help your fellow riders when you can and STAY RIGHT!
