March 11, 2026 Winter is Back!
After a week of warmth winter has returned with vengeance. The U.P. will receive 6 to 8 inches today
with the lower expecting ice, rain and mix of snow. Temps stay below freezing into next week with
several storms on the way. Heavy snow again on Friday for most of the state with another snow event
for Sunday and Monday.
The U.P. will have some good conditions this week and weekend with a strong base and lots of new snow to groom.
The lower has lost most of th snow, although back in the wooded ares will still have some snow.
Mostly sleet and ice today in the lower but expect decent snowfall on Friday. I expect fair conditions
by the weekend and better conditions after the weekend snow.
