February 16, 2026 Turning colder
It's was a good weekend to ride with moderate temps and plenty of snow base.
Temps have been above average the past few days and will be that way the next
three. Temps will cool back down to normal after a messy system moves in Wednesday.
Expecting mostly snow for the U.P. but a mix of snow, freezing rain and rain in the lower.
The U.P. and lower are holding up fine so far but will have to see how Wednesday storm shakes out for the lower.
My guess is it will hold up in the LES belts of the lower.
The warmer temps result in limited grooming but nights should be cold enough to do so.
Make sure you pull out of the way for groomers, help your fellow riders when you can and STAY RIGHT!
