The Grass River around Shanty and Cold Creek is very undisturbed
and naturally beautiful. The shot left shows an elk standing
in Cold Creek for her morning drink. You never know what you may
see on your way through. Keep your eyes open and be as quiet as you can.
Navigation is easy through here as the depth will
remain 5 foot or better as long as you stay in the middle of the river.
