The DeTour Lighthouse marks the souther entrance to DeTour Passage.
As you head north past DeTour Shoal on the port side and
Crab Island Shoal to the starboard you now enter the St Marys River.
A little further north you will pass Frying Pan Island where marker light #7
green, shown above, sits on the shore. If you look right to Drummond Island
you may see one of the Great Lake freighters loading dolomite
like the Kaye E Barker shown here, locally known as Ma Barker.
