Source for the North
South Locks Entrance
The entrance to the Crooked River Locks coming from Crooked Lake is shown in the top photos.
Here the bottom here has been dredged to about 8 ft in the channel
and has been filled with rocks to control erosion. The rock
bottom makes a good home for smaller fish and crustaceans that
the game fish like to eat making this a good shore fishing area.
Minnows work well early in the season on walleye here.
This can also be a very busy spot for boaters on a summer weekend
