At the end of Bowersock Road there is public access to the river. It is a hard dirt bottom for small boats. Plenty of cover makes this section of the river a good place for bass. The Bald Eagles nesting in a tree on the north bank and the abundance of summer wild flowers makes for one of the most memorable views along the river.
