The view shown top left is the entrance channel from Burt Lake into the
Indian River. On the south side of the channel is a walkway and benches at
DeVoe Park, Indian Rivers public beach and park.
Where Witt Street meets the river there is a small dirt ramp and
dock for small boats only. There is very limited parking here.
This part of the river is also a good early season fishing area. If you look in the water, early spring just infront
of the boat house in the photo top right, you can usually see many
walleye, brown trout and suckers swimming around the gravel holes.
