The Indian River connects Burt Lake with Mullett Lake and runs right through downtown Indian River, Michigan. It's wonderful boating in the summer with lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the public dock under the M-27 Bridge. Boat traffic will get fairly thick through this area in the summer. The first part of the river is an adventure for the angler who likes to troll for night walleye that come in to feed. Good action in the early spring for the experienced troller.
