Pigeon River Bay starting from Parrott Point, shown top right, is scattered with weed growth and holds pike and muskie winter and summer. Work crank baits close to the weeds for the best results. The area around the mouth of the Pigeon and Little Pigeon Rivers is a great spot for trout in the early spring steelhead. Spawn bags, crawlers, or minnows off the bottom produce good catches of brown and rainbow trout. The area also has a good bullhead and sucker run as the water warms. Canoes and kayaks can paddle up the mouth of the Pigeon River, shown below.
