Topinabee is on the southeast end of Mullett Lake and has a small public beach and dock.
Just north of Topinabee off US 27 there is a small boat ramp. It has a cement ramp, loading dock and limited parking. The shallows know as the Southern Sunken Island just south of Topinabee holds walleye year round. The area on and around the flats has a rocky bottom and holds smallmouth in the early season along with walleye and pike. Walleye will suspend off the steep banks from the sunken island to well north of Topinabee in the summer months.
