The view top is the west end of the channel from Crooded Lake.
The western entrance to the channel is
marked by a single green marker. Stay to the north side of the marker.
I have pulled many stuck boats off the sandbar over the years here. It is a good place to
anchor off the side and swim. When you pass this
marker headed out into the lake do not turn south right away,
the sand bar runs a few hundred yards out from Oden Island's north-west shore.
