A nice place to take a secluded break on the north arm of Burt Lake. The North end of this arm has a small sandy beach and is on the edge of a wildlife game preserve. Only accessible by water, it is a quiet spot to beat the heat while boating. A small cold spring, Carp Creek, enters the lake here and is a good place to keep things cold. You most likely will need to walk in a ways as it stays very shallow a few hundred feet out. Remember to take only what you bring. And leave it clean for others to enjoy.
