The area between the Indian River and the Sturgeon River to the south is
know as Walleye Ally. Spring fishing for walleye here is some of the best on
Burt Lake. Pike, trout, bass, panfish, muskie, and smallmouth bass
are also abundant year round.
If your just out boating, food, gas and shopping is just minutes down the
river in Indian River. Spectators can watch the start of the
Outboard Marathon Nationals from the beach
here.
